2023 EU-Taiwan Investment Partnership Forum on Semiconductor Clusters

European Economic and Trade Office, EU Member States' offices in Taiwan, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the SEMI International Semiconductor Industry Association jointly hosted the "2023 EU-Taiwan Investment Partnership Forum on Semiconductor Clusters " on 7 September at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 2.

The forum successfully gathered over 180 experts, corporate leaders, and decision-makers from the Taiwan-EU semiconductor industry to join. In this forum, Taiwan's USI (ASE Group) shared its experiences in expanding and investing in the EU, and the representatives from nine semiconductor industry clusters of EU member states, including Belgium, Poland, Italy, Finland, Germany, France and the Czech Republic, introduced their unique industry ecosystems and its development strategies, they also looking for potential cooperation partners from Taiwan in terms of investment in the EU and research and development collaboration.

Following the forum, a press conference was co-hosted by Mr. Filip GRZEGORZEWSKI, Head of the European Economic and Trade Office, Mr. Chern-Chyi CHEN, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and Mr. Laith ALTIMIME, President of SEMI Europe. Over 20 media were present, including various channels such as online media and television, resulting in approximately 26 news reports.
